Step 1: Set up and prepare your FedEx account
Before connecting your FedEx account in Tengiva, make sure the following are complete.
These steps must be done directly in your FedEx profile.
Verify that your FedEx account is active
Ensure your account is in good standing and that your login credentials are still active.
Find and set the correct settings in your account
Go to your account profile from the top menu.
2. Select the “Preferences” option in the side menu (last one).
3. Open the “Customs Clearance Preferences” dropdown
4. Ensure these 3 options are checked :

2. Click on the “Browse” button in that window. This will open another window to let you choose a file from your device.
3. After you have selected it, make sure to click on the 'Upload' button.
4. Once uploaded, you can close the small window.
5. Go to the bottom of the page and make sure to click the save button.
Setting the signature image
Next, we have to do a similar procedure for the Signature image
Click on the corresponding Upload link (it will open a small window).
Click on the “Browse” button from that window. It will open another window to let you choose a file from your device.
After you have selected it, ensure to press the upload button.
4. Once uploaded, you can close the small window.
5. Go to the bottom of the page and ensure to click the save button.
Step 2: Keep your FedEx account open
Leave your FedEx account open in a separate tab. You may need to quickly reference or copy details, such as your account number, when filling out the integration form in Tengiva.
Step 3: Connect your FedEx account in Tengiva
On the left panel, navigate to My Business > Shipping account.
1. On that page, click on the top right green button "Add shipping account".
It will open the navigation drawer with the shipping account form for the various shipping companies.
2. Click on the FedEx logo. The form will show up.
The reference and Description fields are required to identify accounts when you have multiple.
3. Upload your Letterhead and Signature image in your system (REQUIRED)
In the form, you will be asked to upload the same 2 documents you previously uploaded to FedEx.

📎 *These documents are required. Tengiva includes them in your shipping rate requests and shipment purchases to ensure the shipments are processed correctly under your name.
4. Save your information
Please review that all the information is accurate and reflects your FedEx account. Finally, you can click on save to save your process and succesfully finish the process.
